Funeral for a Friend are a Welsh Emo band comprising Matthew Davies-Kreye (Lead vocals and guitar), Gareth Davies (Bass and vocals), Kris Coombs-Roberts (Guitar), Darran Smith (Guitar) and Ryan Richards Drums and vocals
Funeral for a Friend stormed onto the Emo scene with incredible force in 2003, bagging themselves a loyal fan-base, who in turn bagged them a Kerrang award for Best Newcomer via a public vote.
They have had a number of top 40 UK hits since their first single released in 2003 notably “Streetcar” which peaked at number 15, “Into Oblivion", "Juneau”, "She Drove Me To Daytime Television”, "Escape Artists Never Die” and “History” They have immense power live and really made the adrenalin kick in.
