Weller’s best selling album of his career came with the release of Stanley Road in 1995, which saw him back at the top of the British charts. The albums major single, “The Changingman” was also a big hit and took him into the Top 10 of the UK singles charts. The album also featured the ballad “You Do Something To Me”, which proved to be another hit.
In February 2006, Paul Weller received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BRIT Awards and played “From The Floorboards Up, “Come On/Lets Go”, “The Changingman” and The Jams “Town Called Malice” that delighted guests at the ceremony.
