James Profile
Name: James
Formed: 01/01/1981
Probably the bands most well-known album was Gold Mother, released in June 1990 and won them mainstream recognition. Singles from the album, “How Was It For You”, the remixed “Come Home” and “Lose Control” all made the top 40 and went on to play two sell out dates at the Manchester G-Mex without having had a major hit.
The bands major breakthrough came in March 1991 when a re-recorded version of “Sit Down” shot to No2 in the UK singles chart. The song made the band a household name.
So far this year, the band played a 7 date tour that managed to sell out by the close of business and kicked off in April 2007 and followed with festival appearances at T in the Park and V Festival.
They will also be releasing a new compilation album, Fresh As A Daisy – The Singles and they are currently working on an album of new material.
All tickets purchased through no1soldoutevents are fully guaranteed.
