The band are known for their excellent use of guitar distortion, tremelo and digital reverb.
Their 1991 album Loveless took two years to make, but once released it was critically acclaimed.
In November 2007, My Bloody Valentine announced upcoming gigs for 2008. The shows sold out in minutes and forced the band to add two extra dates. They have also been confirmed as part of the 2008 Benicassim Festival, held in Spain in July.
